libmagickcore5-extra software package provides low-level image manipulation library - extra codecs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmagickcore5-extra
libmagickcore5-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmagickcore5-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmagickcore5-extra *
You will get with libmagickcore5-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
